Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company  (Company 01)

The WVFC has been located at 167 West Shirley Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186, since 1976 and have been proudly serving the citizens of the Town of Warrenton and Fauquier County since 1924. We are dedicated to the preservation of life and property through education, quality emergency medical care, effective fire suppression and hazard mitigation.

Remington Volunteer Fire & Rescue  (Company 02)

The Remington Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department was organized in 1942 by the citizens of Remington, Virginia and the surrounding areas to protect their own community. The department has a rich history and tradition for service to local residents and businesses, and has saved countless lives and property over the decades. It also continues to play an important role in knitting the rural community of Remington together tightly.

Today, the department has over 70 active volunteer members, many of whom are professional fire and rescue personnel from surrounding counties who live and volunteer in Fauquier County. This volunteer team, augmented by two full-time professional fire/EMS personnel, responds to approximately 2,000 service calls each year. The department’s primary response area encompasses about twenty square miles, and is home to some 8,000 residents. It includes the communities of Remington, Bealeton and Opal.

Marshall Volunteer Fire and Rescue  (Company 03) 

Marshall Volunteer Fire and Rescue proudly protects approximately 10,000 people living in an area of 100 square miles.  Our recently merged department operates out of two locations to better serve our community. The department, whose members are on a volunteer status, protects a primarily rural area and responds to approximately 550 incidents a year.  Response includes residential, commercial, agricultural, interstate highway, and hazardous materials.  Continual operation of the department relies on grants, supplemented by fund raising activities, such as our fund drive letters, special events, and monthly breakfasts.  Marshall Volunteer Fire Department is located at 4160 Rectortown Road, P.O. The Plains Volunteer Fire and Rescue  (Company 04)

The Plains Volunteer Fire Company is located just north of I-66 in Fauquier County. The department's first due consists of approximately 60 square miles with a  wide variety of terrain including Bull Run Mountain to the east. The high volume of traffic through the I-66 and Route 17 corridors generates a large portion of the station's call volume. The department frequently runs mutual aid with Loudoun and Prince William Counties due to their close proximity. 

TPVFC is a combination volunteer/ career department and responds to approximately 1000 calls per year within Fauquier County and surrounding areas. The Plains Volunteer Fire and Rescue is located at 4260 Loudoun Ave, The Plains, VA 20198.

Catlett Volunteer Fire and Rescue (Company 07)

Our organization is over 100 volunteers strong.  It is comprised of two merged organizations. The Catlett Volunteer Fire Company was organized in 1962.  The Cedar Run Volunteer Rescue Squad was organized in 1973.  The two merged in 2007 to become the Catlett Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company.  We provide to the community of Catlett and its surrounding jurisdictions, Emergency Medical Services, both Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support, Fire Suppression, HazMat Incidents, Swift Water Rescue, All Terrain Vehicle Search and Rescue, and more.  Catlett Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company is located at 3447 Catlett Road, P.O. Box 280, Catlett, VA 20119.

Goldvein Volunteer Fire Department  (Company 08)

 The Goldvein Volunteer Fire Department, located in southern Fauquier County, was organized in 1966.  Its first piece of apparatus, a 1957 Reo 500 gallon pumper, was purchased from the Remington Volunteer Fire department soon after.  In its first year of service, it ran just 10 fire calls.  In 1990 the Department bought its first ambulance from Fairfax Volunteer Fire Department for $1.00.  Since its formation, the department has come a long way with the support of the community and the loyalty of its dedicated volunteers. Today, the department operates a 1991 Grumman pumper, 1994 Pierce tanker, 2006 brush truck / mini pumper, and a 2009 Road Rescue ambulance. 

There has also been a kitchen, office, TV room, and enough bunks to sleep 10 added to provided a better service to the community.  We are constantly looking for dedicated volunteers to help meet the increasing demands of the Fire and EMS service.  If you are interested in joining, come by, call, or use the online application.  Goldvein Volunteer Fire Department is located at 14276 Goldvein Road, Goldvein, VA 22720.

New Baltimore Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department  (Company 10)

New Baltimore Volunteer Fire Rescue started in a small firehouse on donated land in 1971 when this area was primarily rural. As the area developed, our volunteer base grew and so did the call volume. We now proudly protect over 15,000 people living in a 31 square mile area and are one of the higher volume call stations in Fauquier County with an average of 1800+ calls per year. We operate in a combination fire/rescue system and have 24/7/365 response for our area.

Our mission is to provide trained and certified emergency medical services personnel to respond to medical emergencies, and firefighters to provide fire suppression and response to traffic accidents in Fauquier County, Virginia. We also provide mutual aid to surrounding jurisdictions, and can assist with HazMat or technical rescue efforts.

Orlean Volunteer Fire Rescue Department (Company 11)

The Orlean Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1972 by a group of concerned citizens.  Since that time members have continued to serve the community with pride and professionalism.  Now, the Orlean Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department provides fire and rescue services to a large geographic area.  In the spirit of community service, members volunteer their time and talents to respond to calls as well as conduct numerous fund raising and community out-reach events.  Orlean Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. is located at 6838 Leeds Manor Road, P.O. Lois Volunteer Fire Department (Company 13)

We are a volunteer organization that was established in 1978.  We currently have 35 volunteers who dedicate their time to help the people in our community.  New volunteers are always welcome.  The current building houses a Rescue Engine, Engine, Tanker, two Brush Trucks, and a Medic Unit.
