Students learn how to teach, evaluate, and certify participants in HSI training programs.  Students will also be given a foundation in teaching knowledge and skill to enable them to be sufficiently competent in the classroom. 

There is an online component that MUST be completed prior to the classroom session.

Intended Audience

Health & Safety Institute's CPR Instructor program is designed for individuals who have a desire to teach, have been certified in healthcare provider CPR for a minimum of one year, and are proficient in their CPR skills.

Students will be required to affiliate with Fauquier Fire/Rescue as their HSI Training Site and certification may only be used to support Fauquier County.
