Course Description:  

An active shooter is an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and other populated area. In most cases, active shooters use firearms and there is no pattern or method to their selection of victims. Active shooter situations are unpredictable and evolve quickly.

This course has been designed by Fauquier County Fire and Res

cue, Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office and the Fauquier County School System.  The course will provide essential knowledge to enable our first responders to work as a single team with different agencies during this type of incident.  * PLEASE NOTE THAT IF WE DO NOT HAVE 10 STUDENTS PER CLASS, THE CLASS WILL BE POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE*

 

Audience: All Fauquier County Fire and EMS Responders
